Logo

  • I knew I wanted a logo that showed not only what I did but who I was as a person. Since it is hard to capture my entity in words on a resume, I wanted to craft the perfect logo and business card. Yet I also wanted something that showed I really love to do sound.

  • I began by asking those around me what colors and objects reminded them of my personality. I then began to see what overlapped with how I viewed myself. Then, I used my knowledge of Photoshop to craft my logo.

  • I ended up with this mushroom. The top, a bell shaped, that has eyeliner on it. I figured being a mushroom is the easiest way to describe myself as they’re just fungi. I used the gree/blue color to make sure my logo popped. I decided to put the mushroom in the mirror since all the work I do is a clear reflection of myself, and I take pride in myself and my work. I also like to reflect on my work and I hope others do as well. For the business card, the front has the angel number 222 signifying stability, harmony, and balance. I added a tiny little fader in the front. The back is a sound signal flow. I wanted to make sure my business card was sound related in some way. When looking at it one might see a tarot card or a Loteria (Mexican bingo) card. I also added a cactus in the back because it reminds me of my mom and my roots. All things that makeup who I am in this one single logo/business card.
